Mission Statement
As a community of faith, hope and love, acting in a spirit of openness, sincerity and humility, we recognize every moment as Kairos: The Time of The Lord.
Centered in the Word of God and the gift of the Eucharist, the mission of Our Lady of Peace Parish family is to be a community which proclaims, through word and action, the dignity of every person.
Our community is intended to be inclusive, welcoming, touching, reaching out, and caring for one another: our families and any and all in need. As the Body of Christ, we accept the gospel challenge calling us to transform our environment and our world.
As a sign of our unity with the Universal Church and our particular relationship to Bishop DeLorenzo and the local church we seek to fulfill our mission by looking to the Counsels of the Church. Our vision is to be informed by the documents of the Second Vatican Council, the Encyclicals, and the Pastoral Letters.
We will also look to the “Great Cloud of Witnesses,” to be found in our legacy, the lives of the Saints.
